Nora Kobrenik who is designing our industry showcase will reveal her showcase on February 9th. Nora Kobrenik is the Editor-in-Chief and Founder of Tartarus Media and Tartarus Magazine as well as a Photographer, Model, Stylist, Designer and Artist. She has worked with the likes of famed Fashion photographers Andrea Blanch, Andrew Werner, Nick Night, Guy Aroch and Sebastien Kim; actor & singer Aaron Carter, milliner Eugenia Kim & designer extraordinaire Zang Toi among many others.
Nora is a proud recipient of the Connecticut Scholastics Award, the Golden Key for Photography achievements and The Robert Mapplethorp Foundation Award. Nora Kobrenik is a Graduate of New York City's famed School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art with a focus in photography. In addition Nora has a Master Degree in Fine Art with a focus in design and magazine publishing where she was mentored by Jessica Craig-Martin, Stephen Frailey, Lyle Rexer, Reed and Rader, Jamie Isaiah & Alix Browne.
Nora Kobrenk was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine until the age of 12. Nora started her career in the fashion world as a child model at the age of 7. She has done numerous ad campaigns and runway shows before the age of 15 including LC Waikiki, Antoshka, Alena Volkova, Olga Safonova, ect. Nora Kobrenik was Creative Director of Uptempo Magazine where she lead the magazine in new, ground breaking directions that marry the worlds of Art, Fashion, Performance and Style until it's dissolution at the end of 2014. Kobrenik then formed Tartarus Media and launched Tartarus Magazine in May 2015, since then she is at the helm of the powerhouse that is Tartarus.
