On Sunday, September 18, 2016, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will launch its ninth annual Old-fashioned Flea Market chaired by LMMM Trustee Lynne Byington. The event will be held in Mathews Park, at 295 West Avenue in Norwalk, CT.
A wide variety of booths will feature vintage, new, and one-of-a-kind items for bargain hunters from throughout the metropolitan area; trendy food trucks will serve a mix of cuisines to satisfy all palates, while live music, dance demos, and a classic and antique car show will entertain shoppers of all ages.
The Museum Shop will be open during the event and feature new merchandise with a broad selection of gift ideas including hostess gifts, presents and must-haves. The shop boasts an eclectic and elegant mix of fabric totes, LMMM dishtowels, designer jewelry, elegant scarves, books, and other museum-centered accessories.
All proceeds will benefit the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum. The Museum has donated several booths to area nonprofits who will share their message and mission with attendees.
