“Now We Are Six", the 6th Anniversary of the Norwalk History Room at the Norwalk Public Library Tea Party. Dorothy Mobilia is the keynote speaker. In addition, Norwalk History Room Staff and Volunteers will provide information on resources and Historian Ralph Bloom will share historic Norwalk anecdotes. MEET HOMER Writer Dorothy Mobilia will talk about Aaron Homer Byington, perhaps Norwalk’s best known journalist, at the second annual Friends of the Norwalk Library Tea, at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 22, in the library auditorium at Mott Avenue. What did this self-made man of the Civil war era have in common with the Greek poet Homer, a bust of whom he donated to the library after a long and improbable career?
