February brings Kazaan Viveiros to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Kazaan’s work is an extension of the series of tree paintings she began during her 2010 Weir Farm residency. These were inspired by the trees surrounding the cottage as she spent her time walking through the woods, taking photos, and painting trees. Her current project will continue her exploration of the relationship between man and nature creating work that resides at the point of intersection between the environment and our experience of it.
