Opening Day for the Colorblends House & Spring Garden. It will be open to the public from early April to mid-May. The half acre garden located near downtown Bridgeport has over 40000 spring bulbs flowering at diffferent times. The renovated mansion has a pop-up art gallery featuring 8 local artists including work by CAFC artists Michael J Clocks, Jahmane, Marcella Kurowski, Ruben Marroquin, Liz Squillace and others.
This spring, the season unfolds in flowers as 40,000 snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, tulips, alliums and other bulbs bloom in sequence at the Colorblends House & Spring Garden. During the six-week bloom season, visitors are also welcome to tour Colorblends House where a Pop-Up Art Gallery showcases the work of i10 local artists.
Visit the garden and gallery from early April through mid-May at 893 Clinton Avenue in Bridgeport. Street parking is plentiful. There is no admission fee to enjoy the garden. A donation of $3 ($10 for four or more) is requested to visit the house and art gallery.
