Collaboration toward Conserving Open Spaces

  • Stamford Museum & Nature Center 39 Scofieldtown Road Stamford, CT, 06903 United States (map)

Join us in welcoming Ingrid C. "Indy" Burke to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center for a Salon Series evening in the Bendel Mansion.

This past July, Burke, an ecosystem ecologist and former dean of the University of Wyoming's Haub School of Environmental and Natural Resources, was named the 16th dean of Yale University's F&ES — and the first female dean in the School's 116-year history. Burke's lecture is co-sponsored by The Stamford Land Conservation Trust. Wine and small bites will be served.

The subject of her Discussion is “Collaboration toward Conserving Open Spaces: Strategies for Finding Common Ground” and is offered free of charge. Donations are most welcome to help support this and other SM&NC Salon Series events. Please email us at rsvp@stamfordmuseum.org if you would like to attend.
